One Killed in Sargodha Motorway Accident Near Chenab Bridge

A fatal road accident on the Motorway near River Chenab Bridge in Sargodha claimed one life and left another person injured on Sunday. The collision occurred when a speeding car, registered as SGL-7474, crashed into a trailer carrying iron bars.

Accident Details

According to the rescue control room, the accident took place when the driver of the car, heading towards Lahore, lost control after falling asleep at the wheel. The vehicle rear-ended a trailer (PWO-6265) loaded with iron bars. The impact was severe, killing one occupant and injuring another.

Victims Identified

The deceased has been identified as Daweed, 35, son of Muhammad Khan, a resident of Satellite Town. The injured person, Abdul Khaliq, 27, was also from the same area. Rescue teams arrived promptly at the scene and shifted the body to a nearby hospital for legal procedures.

Rescue officials confirmed that the injured was provided first aid before being transported to a medical facility.
