The price of gold declined in the local market on Monday, with the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreasing by Rs2,400 to settle at Rs437,436, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Gold and Silver Rates Decline Across Categories

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,058 to Rs375,030, while the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs1,886 to Rs343,790. In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $24 to settle at $4,150 per ounce.

Silver Prices Also Drop

Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs37 to Rs6,679, while the price of 10 grams of silver went down by Rs31 to Rs5,726. The price of silver in the international market also declined by $0.37 to $62.00 per ounce, the association reported.
