Gold Price Surges Rs4,370 Per Tola in Pakistan on Friday

ISLAMABAD: The price of gold witnessed a substantial increase in the local market on Friday, according to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSSJA). The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs4,370, settling at Rs444,336, compared to Rs439,966 on the previous trading day.

Gold Rates for 10 Grams

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs3,933 to Rs379,880, up from Rs375,947. Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs3,570 to Rs348,493, against Rs344,923.

International Gold Market

In the international market, gold prices also climbed. The precious metal rose by $43.70 to $4,219 per ounce from $4,175.30.

Silver Prices Rise

Silver prices also saw an upward trend. The price of silver per tola increased by Rs200 to Rs7,279 from Rs7,079. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs171 to Rs6,199 from Rs6,028. Internationally, silver prices increased by $2 to $68.00 per ounce from $66.00.
