Tarar Urges Opposition for Constructive Budget Role

Federal Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar on Saturday called upon the opposition to actively and constructively take part in the ongoing budget session, terming it the most significant parliamentary exercise. Speaking in the National Assembly, he emphasized that political and parliamentary matters should be resolved through engagement, reiterating the government's openness to constructive dialogue.

Call for Positive Participation

Referring to the budget session, Tarar stressed that participation from all sides in a positive manner was essential. He noted that it had already been agreed that members would remain engaged throughout the session and contribute meaningfully. The minister also paid tribute to Shahenshah-e-Ghazal Mehdi Hassan.

Finance Ministry Reviewing Inputs

Tarar informed the house that officials from the Ministry of Finance were recording and noting all speeches and inputs, which were being reviewed daily. This would ensure that lawmakers' concerns could be considered before finalizing budget proposals. He urged both opposition and treasury benches to avoid non-serious behavior, stating that serious debate and criticism could help improve governance and fiscal decision-making.
