The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast hot and humid weather for Karachi, with no immediate likelihood of rainfall. According to the department, the minimum temperature recorded in Karachi was 29.5 degrees Celsius, while the temperature at the time of reporting stood at 31 degrees Celsius. Officials said high humidity levels, currently at 72 per cent, are making conditions feel considerably warmer than the actual temperature. South-westerly winds are blowing at 11 kilometres per hour, influencing the weather pattern across the metropolis. The PMD expects the maximum temperature to remain between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius during the day.
