The Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Saudi Arabia, through its General Secretariat for Islamic Awareness in Hajj, Umrah and Visit, has significantly expanded its awareness and guidance initiatives during the current Hajj season. This comprehensive effort aims to assist pilgrims in performing their rituals with ease and tranquility.
Extensive Preacher Network and Activities
More than 1,822 preachers have been deployed across pilgrims' camps and mosques in Makkah, Arafat, and Muzdalifah. These religious guides have conducted over 120,168 dawah and awareness activities, ensuring that pilgrims receive accurate information and spiritual support throughout their journey.
Multilingual Electronic Messaging
Over 4.36 million multilingual awareness messages have been broadcast through electronic screens installed in key locations. These messages cover essential Hajj rituals and guidance, catering to the diverse linguistic backgrounds of pilgrims from around the world.
Text Message and Hotline Services
The ministry has sent more than 22 million text messages to pilgrims in the holy sites, containing important Hajj rulings and instructions. Additionally, a unified toll-free hotline has received over 582,108 calls, which were answered by a team of more than 230 preachers and 30 translators fluent in over 14 languages.
Visual Religious Guidance
Visual religious guidance services continue to be provided in more than 40 languages, further enhancing the accessibility of information for pilgrims. This multi-channel approach ensures that all pilgrims, regardless of their language or location, can access the guidance they need.
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs reaffirmed that dawah and guidance services will remain active throughout the entire Hajj season, demonstrating Saudi Arabia's commitment to facilitating a smooth and spiritually fulfilling experience for all pilgrims.
