Shangla Teachers' Body Renews Commitment to Rights and Reform

Tanzeem-e-Asatiza Shangla has reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing the resolution of teachers' issues, safeguarding their professional rights, and contributing to the improvement of the education system across the district. The commitment was reiterated by Haji Nawab, In-charge of the organisation's Teachers' Welfare Wing, during a meeting with journalist Zeshan Hussain in Alpurai. District spokesperson Inaamuddin Babar was also present.

Teachers as Foundation of Society

Haji Nawab described teachers as the foundation of any progressive society and stressed that addressing the challenges faced by educators was essential for ensuring quality education and the effective functioning of educational institutions. He said the organisation had consistently advocated for the legitimate rights and demands of teachers and remained engaged with the relevant authorities to address professional, administrative, and financial issues affecting educators in the district.

Supportive Working Environment

According to him, teachers can perform their responsibilities effectively only when they are provided with a supportive working environment and their concerns are addressed promptly. He added that the organisation was actively pursuing improvements in school facilities, timely promotions, stronger service structures, and greater protection of teachers' professional dignity.

Constructive Engagement with Government

Haji Nawab also emphasised the importance of constructive engagement between the government and the teaching community, arguing that meaningful educational reforms could not be achieved without ensuring the welfare and professional stability of teachers. District spokesperson Inaamuddin Babar said the organisation was fully aware of the challenges confronting educators throughout Shangla and was pursuing a comprehensive strategy to have their concerns addressed through the appropriate forums.

He reiterated the organisation's resolve to continue advocating for teachers' rights and to support measures aimed at strengthening educational standards in the district. The speakers stressed that resolving teachers' issues should remain a priority for policymakers, arguing that a motivated and professionally supported teaching workforce was essential for improving academic standards and strengthening the district's education system.
