The Controller of Annual Examinations at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Syed Ahsanullah Shah Rashdi, has officially announced the results for the Associate Degree (AD) in Arts Part-II Annual Examination of 2024, which was conducted in December 2025. The institution reported a strong overall performance, achieving a final pass percentage of 85.81 percent.
Examination Statistics
Out of a total of 9,742 candidates who appeared for the annual examinations, 8,360 students successfully passed. Among the successful candidates, 1,642 students earned a first-class division, while a vast majority of 6,622 students secured a second-class division. Additionally, 96 candidates passed with a third-class division.
Unsuccessful Candidates
On the other hand, 675 students failed the examinations, and 158 candidates were absent from the tests.
Administrative and Disciplinary Actions
The issued notification also highlights several administrative and disciplinary measures that have resulted in withheld or cancelled results. Specifically, the results of 233 candidates have been withheld due to failures in Part I, and another 204 results are held up by the university’s Conduct Branch.
Strict Measures
Strict disciplinary actions led to the complete cancellation of all papers for 20 candidates, while 91 students had specific papers cancelled. Interestingly, only a single candidate’s result was withheld under a designated copy case for cheating.
