Ariana Madix, the 40-year-old American television personality, actress, and businesswoman, recently opened up about the one item that makes her feel truly luxurious while traveling for her role as host of the popular reality series Love Island. In an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Madix revealed the travel essentials she packs for the show.
Workout Gear and Comfortable Clothing
Madix stated, "I pack a lot of workout stuff. I've started bringing some of my own workout equipment, like resistance bands. Things like that." She also emphasized the importance of comfortable attire, adding, "I definitely bring some bathing suits. I bring a lot of clothes that I can wear to set, so when I'm in glam I can be comfortable, and then I have something comfy to put on afterwards."
The Luxurious Touch: Sheet Masks
The Vanderpump Rules alum confessed, "I bring a ton of different sheet masks. They're easy to pack, they don't weigh a lot, and then I feel nice and luxurious." This simple yet effective beauty product has become a staple in her travel bag.
Reflections on Hosting Love Island
Madix, who first hosted Love Island USA season 6 in 2024, shared her thoughts on the experience. The Dancing with the Stars dancer said, "Honestly, being the host of Love Island is something that I think I would've talked about in my living room with my friends as a dream job I would love to have." She expressed surprise at the show's massive success, noting, "When I got the job, I don't know that I would have expected what happened with the show to happen."
She added proudly, "The show really took off in a different way than it had before, and to be able to say that — not only am I the host of my favorite show, but I'm also the host of the number-one show in all of streaming, scripted or unscripted — that's something I'm very, very proud to be a part of."
