LOS ANGELES - Jennifer Lopez has made a bold statement following the release of her new film Office Romance. The 56-year-old actress and singer recently appeared on the podcast SubwayTakes with Kareem Rahm, where she revealed that she has the skills to be a good Secretary of Education. She further told the host that there should be a Self-love subject taught in schools.

Self-Love as a Core Subject

“Self love should be a subject in school from kindergarten all the way through college because they teach us things intellectually,” said Lopez. The On The Floor hitmaker added that if someone doesn’t grow intellectually, they won’t be able to succeed. “And if you fail, just like anything else, you can’t go out in society. You can’t have a job. You have to keep going until you become a good person,” she said.

Promoting Office Romance

For those unversed, Jennifer is currently busy promoting her new film, Office Romance. She plays the lead role opposite Brett Goldstein. Office Romance was officially released on Netflix on June 5. Recently, in an interview with Extra, Brett lauded Jennifer as a “phenomenal” and “extraordinary” artist.

“I think it is extraordinary to do as many different things as she has done at the level that she has done them with the success that she has done them and how it seems to transcend time. I also genuinely as much as I think she is beloved, I think she’s underrated as an actress. I think she’s a fantastic actress. And seeing her do her thing on this film, seeing it up close, is really like,” Goldstein said.
