Actress and author Jenny Mollen has faced significant backlash on social media after sharing intimate photographs with her eldest son, Sid, shortly after confirming her separation from actor Jason Biggs. Mollen, 47, posted a series of images on Facebook and Instagram on May 25, featuring herself and her 12-year-old son, whom she shares with Biggs. The former couple also have an 8-year-old son, Lazlo.
Controversial Photographs and Caption
In the photographs, Mollen is shown lying close to Sid, including poses that drew substantial attention from social media users. The original Facebook post included the caption, “Your eldest son will be the most toxic guy you ever date.” The caption was later removed, and a community note was added to the post. The note stated, “This post romanticizes pedophilia and the relationship between a mother and son. It is inappropriate and should not be on Facebook.”
The images prompted thousands of reactions and comments, with many users expressing discomfort over both the photographs and the caption. One commenter wrote, “Never, have I ever, EVER, been between my sons’ legs. (I have 4) Ever, ever, EVER!! And we’ve all wrestled around. This is cringe stuff right here.” Another said, “Removing the caption makes this sooo much worse cus it means she knows what she said was weird.. and now it just looks like a couple in bed.”
Mollen's Response
Mollen appeared to respond to criticism surrounding the deleted caption, writing, “I said your eldest will be the most toxic bf you ever have. I stand by this!” The controversy emerged just days after Mollen and Biggs confirmed the end of their 18-year marriage. The couple have not publicly commented further on the social media backlash.
