The actress, who has embodied Eleven since the show's inception, shared new insights during a live recording of the Happy Sad Confused podcast in New York.
Only the Duffer Brothers and Brown Know the Truth
According to Brown, the creators of Stranger Things, Matt and Ross Duffer, privately informed her of what truly transpired with Eleven after the series finale but instructed her not to disclose this information to anyone else. The final season left audiences divided after Eleven appeared to sacrifice herself to save her friends and permanently close the connection to the Upside Down. However, the ending stopped short of confirming her death, leading to widespread speculation about whether the character survived.
