Rescue 1122 Dera Ismail Khan Maintains High Alert for Eid-ul-Fitr Celebrations
In Dera Ismail Khan, Rescue 1122 remained on high alert during the second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, implementing special emergency arrangements to guarantee public safety and ensure a timely response to any untoward incidents. According to Rescue officials, these measures were enacted under the directives of Director General Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shah Fahad, and Director Operations South, Arif Khattak, with supervision provided by District Emergency Officer Muhammad Arif Khan.
Deployment of Emergency Teams and Resources
Rescue teams, fully equipped with ambulances and firefighting vehicles, were strategically stationed at key locations throughout the city. Trained medical and firefighting staff remained on standby throughout the day, prepared to respond swiftly to any emergency situation that might arise during the festive period.
Operational Preparedness and Inspections
To facilitate citizens and ensure prompt emergency responses during Eid celebrations, Rescue 1122 personnel were deployed at various points across Dera Ismail Khan. Meanwhile, on-call duty officer Muhammad Ans conducted a visit to Station 33 to review operational preparedness. During this inspection, he meticulously assessed staff attendance, emergency equipment, vehicles, and safety arrangements established along the riverbank.
He directed the personnel to remain alert at all times and perform their professional duties with dedication, emphasizing the importance of effectively handling any potential emergencies. Rescue 1122 reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding lives and property during the festive occasion, underscoring its role in maintaining public safety.
