The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized 200 kilograms of drugs valued at approximately Rs27.2 million in a series of nationwide operations. The operations were conducted across various cities, including Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar, targeting drug traffickers and smugglers.
Details of the Seizures
According to an official statement, the ANF recovered 150 kilograms of hashish, 40 kilograms of heroin, and 10 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine during the crackdown. The drugs were concealed in vehicles, luggage, and hidden compartments.
Arrests and Investigations
Several suspects have been arrested in connection with the seizures. The ANF has registered cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act and is conducting further investigations to trace the supply chain and identify other members of the drug trafficking network.
