Imran Khan's Fifth Eye Injection at PIMS Shows Improvement

The Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on Monday confirmed that the incarcerated founder of PTI, Imran Khan, underwent a scheduled eye procedure on Sunday, describing the treatment as his fifth intravitreal injection.

PIMS Statement on Imran Khan's Eye Treatment

In a statement issued by PIMS administration, the hospital said the 74-year-old former premier was brought from Central Jail Adiala for follow-up ophthalmic treatment. It stated that prior to the procedure, he was first examined by ophthalmologists and was found to be "clinically stable".

Clinical Improvement Noted

The hospital added, "His Optical coherence tomography was performed, which showed clinical improvement." This indicates that the treatment is progressing positively.
