Croatia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Gordan Grlić Radman, arrived in Islamabad on Thursday for a one-day official visit, the Foreign Office (FO) confirmed. The visit aims to bolster bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
Delegation-Level Talks Scheduled
According to a statement issued by the FO, Radman will hold delegation-level talks with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. He is also scheduled to call on Pakistan's leadership during his stay.
Radman was received at Islamabad airport by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Director General (Europe-I). The FO stated that Pakistan "looks forward to further strengthening bilateral cooperation with Croatia in areas of mutual interest."
Exploring New Avenues of Cooperation
The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for both sides to review existing bilateral ties and explore avenues for expanding cooperation in areas of shared interest. The discussions are likely to cover trade, investment, cultural exchanges, and regional issues.
This marks the first high-level visit from Croatia to Pakistan in recent years, underscoring the mutual desire to enhance diplomatic and economic relations.
