Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian arrived at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad on Tuesday, where he was accorded a formal guard of honour. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif warmly received the visiting dignitary upon his arrival.
Guard of Honour Ceremony
A smartly turned-out contingent of the tri-services presented the guard of honour to President Pezeshkian. The Iranian president inspected the guard of honour, walking along the ranks of soldiers. The ceremony underscored the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and Iran.
Delegation Introductions and Tree Planting
Following the inspection, delegations from both countries were introduced to each other. President Pezeshkian also planted a sapling on the lawn of the Prime Minister House, a symbolic gesture of peace and friendship between the two nations.
