ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday held telephone conversations with Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, discussing the peace momentum in the Middle East.
According to a press release from the Foreign Office spokesperson, Dar and his counterparts welcomed the encouraging progress towards an understanding between the United States and Iran. They expressed the hope that ongoing efforts would soon contribute to peace and stability in the region.
Both sides agreed to remain in close contact to further support the peace process.
