Mike Sorrentino Eyes Future Run for New Jersey Governor

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, best known for his role on the reality television series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, has revealed ambitions that could take him from reality television to politics. He has suggested that he may pursue a future run for governor of New Jersey after expanding his addiction recovery business.

Focus on Archangel Centers Expansion

Sorrentino recently stated that his immediate focus remains on growing Archangel Centers, the addiction recovery organization he co-founded. He hopes to expand the network across all 50 states over the next several years before potentially entering public office. Archangel Centers opened its first location in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, in 2025, with additional facilities planned in New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, and Nevada. The organization aims to expand significantly over the coming year as part of its broader mission to provide addiction treatment services.

Potential Gubernatorial Campaign

Speaking about his long-term plans, Sorrentino hinted at a gubernatorial campaign, saying he would introduce himself as 'Governor Situation' after achieving his goals with Archangel Centers. However, he declined to reveal whether he would run as a Democrat or Republican, instead pointing to property tax reform as an issue he believes would resonate with New Jersey residents.

The television personality has increasingly focused on advocacy and recovery work following his own sobriety journey. Sorrentino said helping others through recovery has become one of the most meaningful chapters of his life, describing the growth of Archangel Centers as a way to turn personal struggles into positive change for others.

Reality TV to Politics Trend

If he ultimately enters politics, Sorrentino would join a growing list of reality television personalities who have sought elected office or government positions. For now, however, the former Jersey Shore star appears focused on expanding his recovery network while keeping the door open to a future political career in New Jersey.
