Pakistan on Sunday extended heartfelt condolences to Saudi Arabia following a helicopter crash that claimed 14 lives, expressing unwavering solidarity with the Kingdom in this hour of national grief. The helicopter, belonging to Saudi Aramco, crashed in Ras Tanura, as reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) citing a source at the Ministry of Energy. All 14 passengers on board were Saudi citizens.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar conveyed Pakistan's condolences via a post on X, stating, “Pakistan extends heartfelt condolences to the Government and People of the Kingdom. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this tragic accident and their grieving families. Pakistan stands in complete and unwavering solidarity with our Saudi brethren in this hour of national grief.”

The cause of the crash remains unknown, and an investigation is ongoing, according to the SPA. The Ministry of Energy expressed its deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the families of the victims, praying that God grants them mercy and forgiveness and accepts them among the martyrs.
