Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed expressed his gratitude to the Global Council for Tolerance & Peace (GCTP) for organizing a global conference in North Macedonia, during which Pakistan was lauded for its efforts to foster peace between Iran and the United States. The conference brought together the Speakers of Tanzania and Malta, along with parliamentary, political, think tank, and opinion leaders from 22 countries across Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
Meeting with North Macedonian President
Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed met with the President of North Macedonia, Gordana Davkova, who acknowledged Pakistan's pivotal role in hosting peace talks between Iran and the US. She expressed her appreciation and wished Pakistan success in its mediation efforts.
Ambassador al-Jarwan's Praise
In his address at the conference, Ambassador Ahmed bin Mohammed al-Jarwan, a UAE diplomat and former Speaker of the Arab Parliament, highly commended Pakistan's initiatives for peace to resolve the Gulf conflict and for hosting Iran-US peace talks. He highlighted Pakistan's constructive role in regional stability.
