Pakistan Refutes Taliban Drone Strike Claims in KP, Balochistan

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has officially refuted the statements and claims made by the Afghan Taliban regime regarding the targeting of Daesh Khorasan in the border areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan using rudimentary drones. In a formal statement, the Information Ministry termed these claims as false, as has been the case with previous assertions from the Taliban.

Ministry's Response to Taliban Propaganda

The statement elaborated that the Afghan Taliban regime, through various propaganda outlets and official channels, has been claiming to have struck Daesh Khorasan positions in the border regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan with basic drone technology. The Information Ministry categorically denied these allegations, emphasizing that such claims are baseless and part of a broader disinformation campaign.

Reality of Terrorist Camps

According to the Ministry, terrorist camps, including those affiliated with Daesh and over two dozen other terrorist organizations, are factually located, operated, and patronized from within territories controlled by the Afghan Taliban regime. The Ministry asserted that to conceal their support for terrorism waged against neighboring countries and the region—including activities by Daesh, Fitna al-Khawarij, Fitna al-Hindustan, and others—the Taliban regime routinely issues such fake and malicious statements.
