Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday held separate meetings with Members of the National Assembly Gul Asghar Khan and Raja Osama Sarwar in Islamabad. During the meetings, matters related to the overall political situation in the country and issues concerning their respective constituencies came under discussion.
Key Attendees and Discussions
Federal Minister for Public Affairs Unit Rana Mubashir Iqbal and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Talha Barki also attended the meetings. The discussions focused on addressing the concerns of the constituents and strengthening the political landscape.
Chinese Ambassador's Meeting
Separately, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad and discussed matters of mutual interest. The meeting underscored the strong bilateral ties between Pakistan and China, with both sides expressing commitment to further cooperation.
In a related development, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police have sought an additional Rs8 billion to address security challenges in the province. This request highlights the ongoing efforts to ensure public safety and maintain law and order.
