The Quetta High Court Bar Association on Tuesday paid tribute to Judge of the Federal Constitutional Court Justice Rozi Khan Barrech at a reception, while hailing the establishment of the Federal Constitutional Court Registry in Quetta as a landmark step towards improving access to constitutional justice in Balochistan.

According to a press release issued here, the reception was attended by Judge of the Federal Constitutional Court Justice Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court Kamran Khan Malakhail, judges of the Balochistan High Court, senior lawyers, office-bearers of the bar, and members of the legal fraternity.
Bar Association's Gratitude
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of the Quetta High Court Bar Association expressed gratitude to Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan for establishing the Federal Constitutional Court Registry in Quetta. They described the initiative as a historic milestone that would provide substantial relief to the people of Balochistan, particularly underprivileged litigants, by enabling them to pursue constitutional cases in Quetta instead of travelling to Islamabad.
They said the registry would make constitutional justice more accessible and reduce the financial and logistical burden on litigants. Justice Rozi Khan Barrech termed the establishment of the Quetta Registry a significant step towards strengthening constitutional justice and bringing the Federal Constitutional Court closer to the people of Balochistan.
Recognition of Judicial Services
The reception also acknowledged Justice Barrech's distinguished judicial services and contributions to the administration of justice. Speakers stressed the importance of continued cooperation between the bench and the bar to strengthen judicial institutions and uphold constitutional governance.
