Pakistan Reaffirms Commitment
The minister welcomed the UN’s initiatives, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to religious freedom and minority rights, and expressed concern over the rise in Islamophobia worldwide, including anti-Muslim discrimination in India.
Strengthened Cooperation
Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation on the proposed UN Plan of Action on Combating Islamophobia, international monitoring, research, and interfaith dialogue.
