Peshawar – Senior Vice President of the Pak-UK Trade Forum, Khurshid Ahmed Hashmi, has termed the recent understanding between the United States and Iran a positive outcome of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, calling it a significant step towards reducing global tensions and promoting regional peace. In a statement, he said the development shows that even complex disputes can be resolved through dialogue, mutual understanding, and diplomacy. He added that the progress would foster hope for peace and open avenues for stronger economic and bilateral cooperation.

Hashmi praised Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating reconciliation and congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar for their leadership.
