Hyderabad Police on Wednesday apprehended 14 Afghan nationals suspected of residing illegally in the city, subsequently transferring them to a holding centre for document and identity verification. This action is part of an intensified government campaign against illegally residing Afghan citizens.

According to a police spokesperson, Hyderabad Police conducted targeted operations in multiple areas across the city, leading to the arrest of 14 suspects. The individuals were immediately taken into custody and moved to a holding centre where verification procedures are underway.
