The Saudi Falcons Club has officially announced its 2026 events calendar, featuring a comprehensive lineup of activities designed to promote national heritage and solidify the Kingdom’s status as a global hub for falconry. The announcement was made by the Saudi Press Agency on Monday.

International Falcon Breeders Auction

The calendar kicks off with the International Falcon Breeders Auction, scheduled from August 5 to 25. This event will bring together elite breeders alongside local and international falcon farms, offering a platform for trade and showcasing top-tier birds.

Saudi Falcons Club Auction

Following the breeders auction, the Saudi Falcons Club Auction for locally captured falcons will run from October 1 to November 30. This period aligns with the migration and capture season, allowing falconers to present their finest catches.

International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition

From October 1 to 10, the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh, will host the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition. The event will encompass cultural, entertainment, tourism, and environmental activities, attracting visitors and participants from around the world.

Melwah Race

The Melwah racing event will take place from October 4 to 9, where falconers will compete for prestigious prizes and titles. This competition is a highlight of the calendar, drawing skilled participants and enthusiasts.

King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival

The season concludes with the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival from November 17 to 30. This festival offers prizes exceeding SR38 million (approximately $10 million), making it one of the most lucrative events in the falconry world.

Falcons Club Cup

As a final touch, the Falcons Club Cup will be held from December 21 to 28, wrapping up a year filled with heritage and competition.
