The Lahore High Court (LHC) has released the judges' roster for the first week of its summer vacations, following approval from Chief Justice Aalia Neelum. The Additional Registrar Judicial issued the schedule, which outlines the composition of benches for hearing cases during the break.
Roster Details and Effective Date
According to the schedule, six division benches at the principal seat of the Lahore High Court will hear appeals during the first week of the summer break, while 23 judges will hear cases as single benches. The new roster will take effect from July 6.
Division Bench Assignments
A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice Aalia Neelum will hear appeals of all categories. Another division bench led by Justice Shahbaz Rizvi has been assigned to hear all types of criminal appeals. A bench headed by Justice Faisal Zaman will take up civil appeals, while another division bench led by Justice Ahmad Nadeem Arshad will also hear civil matters. Meanwhile, a division bench headed by Justice Muhammad Tariq Nadeem will hear criminal appeals, whereas Justice Malik Owais Khalid will lead a bench assigned to hear civil appeals.
