KP Housing Minister Details Public Benefits from Governance Roadmap Initiatives

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Housing, Dr Amjad Ali, stated on Tuesday that the public is directly benefiting under the special instructions of the Chief Minister as part of the Good Governance Roadmap. He emphasized that the Housing Foundation is actively taking steps to resolve housing problems faced by government employees, with the department implementing effective measures to achieve its goals and welcoming public complaints and suggestions in this regard.

E-Khuli Kacheri Facilitates Direct Public Engagement

Dr Amjad Ali expressed these views during an E-Khuli Kacheri organized by the Housing Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, specifically focusing on the Housing Foundation. The event was attended by key officials, including the Secretary Housing and the Project Director of the Housing Foundation. Speaking on the occasion, the minister highlighted that public opinions would be given priority, with practical steps being taken to address issues promptly.

During the E-Kacheri, previously received complaints and suggestions were considered and answered online, while callers received live replies on the spot. Citizens from various regions, including Kohat, DI Khan, Peshawar, Swat, Mardan, Bannu, and Mansehra, participated actively, informing authorities about their problems and suggestions related to the Housing Foundation.

Minister Issues Directives for Complaint Redressal

In response to the public feedback, the provincial minister issued clear instructions to all concerned officers to ensure the timely and effective redressal of public complaints. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to transparency and accountability under the Good Governance Roadmap, aiming to enhance service delivery and public satisfaction in the housing sector.

The Housing Foundation's efforts are part of broader reforms to streamline processes and address housing shortages, particularly for government employees, through digital platforms like the E-Khuli Kacheri, which fosters direct communication between citizens and officials.
