Matiari Deputy Commissioner Urges Officers to Enhance Administrative Performance
Deputy Commissioner Matiari Muhammad Yousif Shaikh has issued a strong directive, emphasizing that all officers must perform their duties with utmost responsibility to effectively resolve revenue matters and address public issues. He stressed the need for full implementation of government directives to further improve administrative performance across the district.
Shaikh expressed these views while presiding over an important meeting focused on revenue matters, held at the Deputy Commissioner Office in Matiari. The meeting served as a platform for comprehensive discussions on a wide range of critical administrative and developmental topics.
Key Agenda Items Discussed in the Meeting
During the session, detailed deliberations were held on several pressing matters. These included:
- The latest status of the fire safety audit and monitoring of prices for flour and other essential commodities.
- Progress on the anti-rabies campaign and issues related to katchi abadis (informal settlements).
- Updates on court cases, certificates for the Sindh Peoples Housing Foundation (SPHF), and village development schemes.
- A special review of the Record of Rights, headquarters leave policies, and the tree plantation campaign.
- Results from the PLC meeting, the ongoing vaccination campaign, and the anti-encroachment drive.
- The Sukkur–Hyderabad Motorway (M-6) project and allocation of land for various development schemes under the Public Health Engineering Department.
Advancements in Revenue Record Digitization
It was reported that under the revenue record digitization initiative, significant progress has been made. Initial work has been completed in two dehs of taluka Matiari, specifically Deh Matiari and Deh Palijani. Additionally, digitization efforts are currently underway in Deh Nizamani and Deh Ghoghat of taluka Hala.
Furthermore, the process has also commenced in Deh Zairpir and Deh Saeedabad of taluka Saeedabad, marking a step forward in modernizing administrative records across the region.
Directives for Expedited Action and Public Facilitation
The Deputy Commissioner directed all officers to expedite official matters and take practical, actionable steps to provide maximum facilities to the public. He underscored the importance of efficiency and responsiveness in governance to meet community needs effectively.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including ADC Matiari-I Waqas Malook, ADC-II Iqra Janat, Assistant Commissioner Matiari Abdul Sattar Sheikh, Assistant Commissioner Saeedabad Abdul Shakoor Solangi, Assistant Commissioner Hala Dr. Mazahir, and other relevant officers from the revenue department.
