First Post-Hajj Flight Lands in Faisalabad with 163 Pilgrims

Emotional scenes unfolded at the Faisalabad International Airport on Monday when the first post-Hajj flight carrying 163 pilgrims landed from Jeddah. Member National Assembly (MNA) Bilal Badar Chaudhary received them warmly, marking the beginning of the return phase of Hajj operations.

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-840 arrived from Jeddah with 163 Hujjaj on board, drawing jubilant receptions from pilgrims’ families, officials, and well-wishers amid an atmosphere of gratitude and devotion. Relatives gathered at the airport to receive their loved ones, while many returning pilgrims expressed profound thanks to Almighty Allah for granting them the opportunity to perform Hajj.

MNA Bilal Badr Chaudhary welcomed the pilgrims upon their arrival and congratulated them on successfully performing the sacred obligation. Airport Manager Madam Tasneem Akhtar Jameel, PIA Station Manager Irfan Mahmood, representative of the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Hajji Camp Lahore Hajji Asif Noor-ul-Haq, and other officials were also present on the occasion.

Speaking to the media, Bilal Badr Chaudhary said that the arrangements made by the government and Ministry of Religious Affairs for Hajj 2026 were highly commendable and enabled the pilgrims to perform their religious obligations in a secure, comfortable, and well-organized environment. He said that the government ensured effective arrangements for accommodation, transportation, meals, and other essential services, allowing the pilgrims to focus on worship with peace of mind.

He added that serving the guests of Allah was an honor and privilege for the government. The efforts would continue to further improve facilities for future pilgrims.

The returning Hujjaj also expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made during the pilgrimage and appreciated the warm reception accorded to them at the Faisalabad Airport. They said that accommodation, food, transport, and guidance services remained satisfactory throughout the pilgrimage, helping them perform their religious duties without major difficulties.

The pilgrims particularly praised the dedication and professionalism of officials and staff of the Pakistan Hajj Mission, stating that their timely assistance and commitment greatly contributed to a smooth and comfortable Hajj experience.
