Saudi Arabia to Host First Military History Forum in September
First Saudi Military History Forum Set for September

The Ministry of Defense, in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz Foundation and Taif University, represented by the Taif History Center, will organize the first Saudi Military History Forum next September. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the forum aims to document national military heritage and highlight the history of the armed forces.

Main Themes of the Forum

The forum will focus on four main themes: the establishment of the military in the Kingdom, the role of Taif governorate in the formation of the Saudi army, the historical development of the armed forces, and sources for documenting Saudi military history. This will contribute to creating a comprehensive picture of the Kingdom’s military history from its founding to the present day.

Target Audience and Objectives

The forum targets academics, researchers, and postgraduate students in the fields of history and military science. It aims to support specialized studies, enhance the exchange of scientific expertise, and strengthen integration between academic, documentary, and military institutions.
