Green Electric Bus Service Inaugurated in Khushab
The Green Electric Bus Service was officially launched in Khushab on Wednesday, marking a significant advancement toward modern and environmentally sustainable public transportation in the district. Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the service via video link from a ceremony held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Jauharabad.
According to the official spokesperson, the event was attended by Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar, District Police Officer Dr. Ammara Shirazi, PML-N Khushab President Dr. Ghaus Muhammad Khan Niazi, Member of the National Assembly Malik Gul Asghar Khan Baghoor, and Members of the Punjab Assembly Malik Asif Bhah Awan and Sardar Zafar Abbas Khan Baloch, among others.
First Ride and Public Reaction
Following the inauguration, the deputy commissioner, district police officer, elected representatives, media personnel, and members of the public took a ride on the electric bus. They described it as a comfortable, modern, and environmentally friendly addition to the district’s transport system.
