Police in Faisalabad have arrested a woman who had been evading capture for 21 years in connection with the murder of her husband. The arrest took place on Thursday, bringing a long-standing cold case to a close.

The accused, identified as Kishwar, allegedly strangled her husband Shahid to death with the help of accomplices approximately 21 years ago. Following the incident, a murder case was registered against her at the Sargodha Road police station. However, she managed to remain at large for over two decades.

According to police sources, Kishwar was finally apprehended on Thursday. Authorities have initiated legal action against her, and she is expected to face charges in court. The arrest marks the resolution of a case that had remained unsolved for years.
