DPO Vehari Hears Public Grievances in Open Court

District Police Officer (DPO) Vehari, Tasawur Iqbal, continued his daily practice of holding an Open Court (Khuli Katcheri) at the Complaints Cell of the District Police Office to ensure easy public access to the police and the prompt resolution of grievances under the Open Door Policy.

Personal Hearing of Complaints

During the session, the DPO personally heard complaints and issues raised by citizens. He immediately contacted the relevant police officers and directed them to resolve the complaints without delay, ensuring that all legal requirements were met and decisions were taken strictly on merit.

Emphasis on Efficiency and Transparency

Tasawur Iqbal stressed that police officers must remain committed to addressing public grievances efficiently, fairly, and transparently while providing timely relief to citizens. Speaking on the occasion, the DPO said the primary purpose of the Open Court is to provide maximum relief and timely justice to the public.

He reiterated that the doors of his office remain open at all times for the resolution of genuine individual and collective public issues.
