Israeli Attacks Kill Four Palestinians in Gaza

Israeli military attacks killed at least four Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, health officials in the enclave said. Medics reported that an airstrike by Israeli forces killed one person near the central village of Al-Mughraqa, while Israeli gunfire and tank shelling killed two others near Gaza City. In a separate incident, Israeli forces shot and killed a 40-year-old woman in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the territory, according to health officials.

Israeli Military Response

The Israeli military stated it was unaware of any attack by its troops in the Khan Younis area at the time of the reported incident on Sunday. The military said it was investigating the other reported strikes. Separately, it claimed to have struck and killed several militants in Gaza since Friday.

Ceasefire Violations

Violence in Gaza has persisted despite an October 2025 ceasefire, with Israel conducting almost daily attacks on Palestinians. At least 800 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire deal took effect, according to local medics. The overall death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,587, with 172,381 people injured since the war began on October 7, 2023, medical sources reported on Sunday.

Recent Casualties

Local health authorities reported that hospitals in the war-ravaged territory received two fatalities and 11 injuries over the past 24 hours. According to the sources, the total number of fatalities since the start of the current ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has reached 811, while injuries have risen to 2,278. Additionally, 761 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble. Many victims remain trapped under debris and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews are still unable to reach them.
