Tractor Accident Claims Young Life in Remote Shangla Village
A tragic incident in the remote mountainous region of Shangla district claimed the lives of two members of the same family within hours, plunging the entire community into mourning. According to local sources, a young man lost his life in a tractor accident in Dheran Sar village of Makhuzai, located in the remote Puran tehsil of Shangla. The deceased youth, identified as Junaidullah, son of Shahidullah, was killed on the spot when the tractor he was travelling on met with an accident. Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle suddenly went out of control, resulting in a severe crash that caused fatal injuries.
Uncle Dies of Heart Attack After Hearing News
In a further heartbreaking development, the victim’s uncle reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack after learning of his nephew’s sudden death. Family members said he was unable to bear the emotional shock and passed away shortly afterwards. The uncle’s name was not immediately disclosed. Residents said efforts were made to rescue Junaidullah, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene before medical assistance could arrive. The incident occurred in a difficult-to-access mountainous area where emergency response facilities remain limited.
Community Mourns as Joint Funeral Held
The consecutive deaths of the nephew and uncle within a short span of time left relatives, friends and local residents in a state of deep sorrow. Locals described the incident as one of the most heartbreaking tragedies witnessed in the village in recent years. Funeral prayers for both deceased relatives were offered jointly in the presence of a large gathering of local residents, relatives, elders and community members. Following the funeral, both were laid to rest in their ancestral graveyard.
