Governor Inaugurates 1296th Urs of Abdullah Shah Ghazi

The Governor of Sindh, Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi, officially inaugurated the 1296th annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi (RA) on Saturday. The opening ceremony took place at the revered shrine located in Clifton, Karachi.

Ceremonial Events at the Shrine

During his visit to the shrine, Governor Hashmi offered Fateha and laid a ceremonial chadar at the tomb. He interacted warmly with devotees and welcomed them to the Urs festivities. Accompanied by the Secretary of Auqaf and other officials, the Governor distributed clothes among deserving individuals as part of the charitable activities.

Prayers and Message of Unity

Governor Hashmi offered special prayers for the progress of the country, public prosperity, national unity, and stability. He reviewed the arrangements made for the comfort and safety of devotees attending the Urs celebrations.
