Rawalpindi: Security forces conducted a successful intelligence-based operation in the Panjgur district of Balochistan, resulting in the elimination of six Indian-backed militants. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched based on intelligence reports indicating the presence of Indian-backed terrorists in the area.
Details of the Operation
During the operation, security forces raided several militant hideouts. The ISPR reported that weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were recovered from the slain militants. The deceased members of Fitna al-Hindustan were allegedly involved in numerous terrorist activities. The military spokesperson further stated that clearance operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the region.
The ISPR added that Pakistan's security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counterterrorism campaign with full determination under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, approved by the Federal Apex Committee of the National Action Plan, to completely eradicate externally sponsored terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister Praises Security Forces
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif commended the security forces for their successful operation. He stated that the security forces effectively eliminated terrorists who posed a threat to the lives and property of innocent Pakistani citizens. The Prime Minister reaffirmed the Government of Pakistan's commitment to the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
