Rawalpindi: In a significant intelligence-based operation, security forces have neutralized six Indian-sponsored terrorists in the Panjgur district of Balochistan. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the development, stating that the operation was conducted based on actionable intelligence regarding the presence of foreign-backed militants in the area.
Recovered Items and Terrorist Activities
According to the ISPR, a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a vehicle were recovered from the slain terrorists. These individuals were allegedly involved in numerous terrorist activities across the region, posing a threat to peace and stability.
Ongoing Sanitisation Operations
The ISPR further stated that sanitisation operations are currently underway to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists in the area. The military's media wing emphasized the commitment of security forces to eradicate terrorism and maintain law and order in Balochistan.
This operation marks another successful effort by Pakistani security forces in countering foreign-sponsored terrorism and safeguarding the nation's sovereignty.
