GUJRAT - Three people, including a woman, were killed in an alleged family dispute in the Kotla Arab Ali Khan Road area of Mouza Buzurgwal, located within the jurisdiction of Kharian tehsil, on Tuesday.
Incident Details
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the incident occurred when an elder brother allegedly opened fire on his younger brother, the latter's wife, and an uncle following a domestic disagreement.
Victims Identified
The victims were identified as Sufyan Arshad (32), his wife Rimsha Sufyan (32), and Munawar Hussain (65). All three died on the spot.
Rescue teams rushed to the area after receiving information about the shooting and shifted the bodies to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Kharian after police completed the necessary legal formalities. Further investigation is underway.
