Security forces have eliminated four Khwarij, linked to the Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij, in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan District on the night of June 3-4, 2026.
Operations in Dera Ismail Khan and Mohmand
During the operation in Dera Ismail Khan, troops effectively engaged the Khwarij location. After an intense exchange of fire, two Khwarij belonging to the Indian-backed Fitna-al-Khwarij were sent to hell. In a separate intelligence-based operation in Mohmand District, security forces skillfully engaged and neutralized two more Khwarij.
Recovery of Weapons and Continued Operations
Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the killed Khwarij, who were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the region. Sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Khwarij in the area.
The relentless counter-terrorism campaign, under the vision of 'Azm e Istehkam' as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, continues at full pace. Security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
