MUZAFFARGARH: In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Commissioner Muzaffargarh Hafiz Usman Tahir Jappa visited the Jassowala Wastewater Disposal Point. Managing Director WASA Shoaib Fayyaz and Engineer Hafeez Laghari accompanied him during the inspection.
Detailed Inspection of Drainage System
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the drainage system, performance of machinery, and overall operational arrangements at the disposal point in detail. He examined the efficiency of the existing infrastructure and assessed the effectiveness of the wastewater disposal mechanisms in place.
Directions for Improvement
Deputy Commissioner Hafiz Usman Tahir Jappa directed the concerned authorities to further improve the drainage system and ensure that citizens do not face any issues related to wastewater disposal. He emphasized the need for proactive maintenance and timely upgrades to prevent any disruptions in service.
He stated that the provision of public facilities and improvement of basic infrastructure are among the top priorities of the district administration. He further said that, in accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, timely completion and effective monitoring of civic facility projects are being ensured. The Deputy Commissioner also instructed officials to keep all machinery fully operational and ensure immediate repair in case of any malfunction.
