Sialkot anti-encroachment drive demolishes 46 structures

In a concerted effort to reclaim public spaces, the Sialkot administration launched a comprehensive anti-encroachment operation across the city. Acting on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali, the operation was spearheaded by Chief Officer of the Municipal Corporation, Zubair Wattoo.

Operation Details

During the drive, enforcement teams dismantled three permanent encroachments and removed 43 temporary structures from various localities. Additionally, authorities confiscated 10 tarpaulins and levied fines totaling Rs30,000 on violators for non-compliance.

Continuous Enforcement

Chief Officer Wattoo emphasized that daily operations are ongoing to clear roads, footpaths, and other public areas. He reiterated that illegal encroachments will not be tolerated, and strict action will persist against those who violate regulations.
