ABBOTTABAD: Police have arrested the alleged killer of Bykea rider Usama from Rawalpindi after solving the blind murder case through modern technology, professional investigation and scientific evidence.
Case Registration and Investigation
Nawanshehr police had registered a case on June 15 on the complaint of the victim's brother-in-law, Zubair, and launched an investigation from multiple angles. Investigators analysed the call data records (CDR) of the deceased, local residents and other suspects, while technical tracing of the victim's mobile phone and evidence collected from the crime scene also formed part of the investigation.
Breakthrough and Arrest
The probe led police to the victim's sold mobile phone, enabling them to trace and arrest the main suspect, Kamil alias Kami, a resident of Pathar Gali. According to police officials, the suspect confessed to the murder during interrogation. The use of modern technology and scientific evidence was crucial in cracking the case.
