Italian authorities have arrested two Pakistani nationals in connection with the murder of four Pakistani farm workers whose bodies were discovered in a burned minivan in southern Italy, as reported by Corriere della Sera on Tuesday.

The charred vehicle was found at a petrol station near the village of Amendolara, located in the agricultural region of Calabria. Surveillance footage from the station shows two individuals blocking the van's doors from the outside and pouring a flammable liquid inside, according to law enforcement sources cited by the newspaper. The footage then captures a fire erupting and the two suspects fleeing the scene. Firefighters extinguished the blaze and later recovered the bodies from inside the vehicle.

Local police chief Antonio Borelli stated, "This is definitely murder, we just have to work out the details." The investigation is ongoing.
