LAHORE – Old Ravians emerged as champions of the 14th Prof Mukhtar Ahmad Butt Memorial T20 Cup 2026 after a convincing 54-run victory over Sardar Group in the final. The match was played at the Ittefaq Cricket Ground located at Arfa Karim Tower in Model Town.
Match Summary
Batting first, Old Ravians were bowled out for 156 runs in 19 overs. Mujahid Rashid top-scored with a solid 45 runs, while Saqib Butt contributed 41 runs. Saeed Ullah remained unbeaten on 21 runs and was later named player of the match for his all-round performance. For Sardar Group, M Faiz, Hafiz Faisal, and Zafar Iqbal each took two wickets.
In response, Sardar Group could only manage 102 runs in 15 overs, falling short by 54 runs. Zafar Iqbal top-scored with 36 runs, while Munir Bhatti made 27 and Sardar Farhat added 11. The Old Ravians bowling attack shared the wickets, with M Owais, Waleed Khan, and Saeed Ullah each taking two wickets.
Individual Awards
At the conclusion of the tournament, Zeeshan Butt was declared player of the tournament. M Azeem was awarded the best batsman, while Sardar Group’s captain was honored as the best captain of the competition.

The chief guest on the occasion was Prof Salman Rafiq. Other distinguished guests included former Pakistan Test all-rounder Manzoor Elahi, Kamran Ch, Sohail Murtaza, Mian Mubeen, Sardar Farhat, and Khalid Jamshed.
Speaking at the prize distribution ceremony, Chief Organiser Faheem Mukhtar Butt congratulated the winning team and appreciated all participating sides for contributing to the success of the tournament. Prof Salman Rafiq paid tribute to Faheem Butt for consistently organizing the event in memory of his late father, Prof Mukhtar Ahmad Butt, for the past two decades. He praised the efforts made to keep the legacy of the respected educationist and sports enthusiast alive through cricket.
