The Pakistan Cricket Board has officially updated the calendar for the ongoing international cricket matches on home soil. This decision brings a significant shift in venues and dates for fans to note.
Revised Schedule Details
After holding mutual discussions with Sri Lanka Cricket and Zimbabwe Cricket, the PCB confirmed the changes. The remaining two One-Day International matches between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will now be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The new dates for these clashes are November 14 and November 16.
Furthermore, in a major update, the entire T20I Tri-Nation Tournament has been relocated. The competition, which features the host nation Pakistan, alongside Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, will now be played completely in Rawalpindi. The tournament is set to commence on November 18, building up to its final on November 29.
A Crucial Preparatory Platform
This T20I Tri-Nation Tournament is not just another bilateral series. It holds immense importance as it serves as a key preparatory platform for the participating teams. The matches will provide vital practice and help in team building ahead of the major international event, the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
The PCB has assured fans and stakeholders that the complete and updated fixtures for both the ODI series and the T20I Tri-Nation Tournament will be published shortly on all its official digital platforms and channels.
