The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has launched a five-day D License Coaching Course in Lahore, marking the return of the program to the city after more than a decade. The course, which runs until July 12, has brought together 36 coaches from across Pakistan and is regarded as a significant step toward strengthening football coaching standards and grassroots development in the country.
Course Details and Instructors
The course is being conducted by instructors Akhtar Mohiuddin and Muhammad Habib, while Bilal Khan is serving as the course coordinator. The opening ceremony was attended by DFA Lahore President Zia Arif Dogar, Secretary Abdul Nadeem, Treasurer Chaudhry Azhar, and PFF senior coach Sajjad Mahmood.
PFF Leadership on Coaching Education
PFF President Mohsen Gilani and Chief Operating Officer Shahid Khokhar described the course as a positive development for Pakistan football, emphasizing that coaching education programs are essential for promoting modern football culture and producing qualified coaches nationwide.
Local Support and Future Plans
Zia Arif Dogar welcomed the return of the coaching course to Lahore, saying it would provide young coaches with an opportunity to learn modern coaching methods and contribute to the long-term development of grassroots football. He reaffirmed DFA Lahore’s commitment to working closely with the PFF to organize similar educational initiatives in the future.
